Cant create new media directory

Trying to create a new media directory in documents / 3D objects folder but it hangs on documents folder:

Hi Kit
did you try to paste the folder path into the "Path" by coping for the explorer?
did Smode crash and create a dump file?

it's may be related with the loading of files icon
you can check with this utility

Autoruns for Windows - Windows Sysinternals

if there are some software with abnormal name and icon in red so you can try to deactivate then.
