How to adjust the droste speed

I whould like to adjust the speed of the droste to my bpm in my daw (ableton).

After looking around i think it's done by adjusting time base however this option is grayed out.
Anny help whould be greatly apreciated.

Hey!
I think you can send a "tap" signal in midi from ableton.
You can use it as a midi input in Smode.
If you add a "play standalone" to your Droste effect, you will be able to control the speed with this midi input using "Learn"
Then, by adding a "Clamp" modifier on the created link, and a "Dynamic -> Smooth", your Droste will follow the rythm.
