May be you should promote "Direct Sound" input devices instead of good old "Windows Audio" driver.
Of course use ASIO driver for better latency when available.

Hi Vleonc,

For this,
Add your sound file to the compo timeline,
then just enable "output channel" parameter from AudioSpectrum.

This should do the jobs
