Linux support planned?

Hi and congrats for this great software ! just starting to use it, looks really polished and performant !

I would like to know if there is any plan for adding linux support ?
I really don't know the amount of work it represents, but what i know is there is a bunch of linux users out there working 3d and keeping a windows dual boot only for after effects because there is no actual replacement for it, Smode could really come handy and take this spot i think !

Anyway thanks for giving the synth version for free ! cheers !

Hi Samytichadou, and many thanks for your interest in Smode.

4 years before we have a successful Linux version of our Smode Engine working (cf Screenshot)
But it is realy hard to maintain, this because Smode evolve quickly and the commercial demand is not realy here.
We encouter the same issue on MacOS plateform.

We also miss experience on Linux OS to ensure the same quality support for Smode Station users.
I hope Smode Studio will came back on Linux soon as a beta version.
But sadly it is not yet our priority.

Anyway it is possible, so if it came back, we will kept you informed.

Hopefully with increasing Smode users, you'll see some commercial demand on linux
I really think there's a spot to get here for AE replacement ! IMHO, this would be a GREAT news (finally out of Adobe supremacy)
