Moving head -audio/video/lights installation

Does anybody have done a full video+audio+light show?
Looks like, but i just found how to compile fixtures and replicate them. The forum, ad manuale and tutorial doesn't zoom on DMX output.
I'm going to decide if using smode to control many moving head in sync with generative video and 7+1 audio system.
If anybody had some experience could please write something?
Would be better to send osc messages or artnet to trigger complicate cues in a proper light consolle or is there a good way in smode to create them, maybe realtime editabile, with just an enttec or any USB to DMX device? Does it work out 2 x DMX universes?

Hello Vento,

Smode Station has a DMX Video output that maps several pixels to DMX/Art-net universes and also a "dmx control processor" that enable to map a single DMX output channel or a single RGB DMX 3-channels.
The new beta of Smode Station will come with advanced 3D pixel mapping tools and also sACN output support.
When it comes to general DMX fixtures (not LED-oriented), most people still mostly use the lighting desk and send simple orders from Smode to the lighting desk in order to trigger the cues.
All of this works with either Enttec DMX, but we more often use Art-net and now sACN.

I would really appreciate some guidance regarding the use of ENTTEC DMX.
I would like to assign a midi controller to a dmx value in Smode that would be sent over the Enttec.
How can I assign the "dmx control processor" value to the Enttec ?

Hi,
first you should create a device for your DMX

then in the Tools>controls>control>artnet
you can select one that corresponds to your setup ( here I'm using the Dmx Output Control Processor )
and now you can select the device
set the sending mode ( on trig, on change or continuous ) and select the channel

and in the end, you can expose/link and learn the value field to control using your midi
