Parameter Bank State - Trigger Random on Main Timeline

I've setup a few color parameters and some states for them.

I'd like to be able to cycle through them and trigger that on the main timeline.

I went to the parameter bank and right clicked on Apply Random and Exposed as Trigger

Put the Trigger on the main timeline. However, once I set one keyframe, it's as if the trigger is being pressed every single frame - I cannot find a way to press the trigger once, with a keyframe.

Is there a better way to advance through Parameter Bank states from the main timeline?
I'd also prefer to advance to the next state instead of random. However, Apply Next does not loop to the top when it is on the last state. Loop to top would be a great option to have.

Why don't you create a linear loop on the states of your ParameterBank and then animate this loop from the timeline ?

I tried that, but whenever that animation was playing it forced the parameter states to the first state. Nothing else. I tried adjusting the In and Out values, but same result. If I stopped the Parameter state loop, I can manually choose states. But if I play it again, it jumps to the first state and overrides any other attempts to change states.

Any reason it would do this?

Can you try with the latest beta ? Because it works fine on my part

Yes, it is normal. The loop will automatically override the current state at the moment it play

OK - got the latest Smode beta and yes ! Looping the Parameter State works in the beta version 9.0.1953.769ffac3e5.
