Hi,
I'm having issues using position noise on a .fbx model. It is creating " holes" in the 3d model.See screenshot attached:
I'm fighting with this since quite some time.Does anyone have an idea ?
Thank you
Mehdi
Hi!Did the problem come with a specific range of of "Strength" of the "Position noise"?Did your .fbx have other "Operators" or "Distort"?Perhaps a Both side texture may fix the problem
Hi,I tried rendering on both sides, no difference. There are no other operators. It seems to appear with pretty all settings. Here attached is a little demo compo.BestMehdiexample distord.compo.zip (239.2 KB)
Actually no need of the .fbx, here is an example of the same problem with a simple planeexample distord 2.compo.zip (1.9 KB)
I see. this is an already reported problem. We'll work on that .I advice you to use 3d transform with a 3dNoise or 2DNoise mask instead of position noise. You will be more precise too
The 3d transform solution works.Thanks !
