General
- New: Features demo new panel displayed at boot (examples are still accessible to the left)
- New: Reference documentation - a whole new detailed section on every feature
Particles
- New: Particles conditions, actions and rules - define advanced logic in your particle systems !
- New: Normal map particle field, with optical flow layer modifier (turn the motion of a live video into forces applied to particles, aka. vector fields)
- New: Layer based fields now use a Mapping to project the Layer in 3D
- Change: particle physics and collisions are now handled by rules ("Collide" particle condition + "Bounce" particle action)
2D Effects
- New: Bezier Patch 2d placement (mesh warp)
- New: N-Point Gradient Layer Generator
- New: Frame delay 2D modifier (one modifier by delayed frame)
- New: Optical flow 2D modifier to generate a velocity map
- Change: optimize 'multiply' and 'dissolve' blending mode to use native opengl
- Fix: Better support of direct show interlaced stream.
- New: Support of Syphon input and output for MacOSX.
- Fix: Update Spout and add compatibility support for VVVV Video Input.
Timelines
- Change: point creation is now ctrl+click instead of alt+click
- New: Multiple track selection in Timeline
- New: Implementation of Copy / Paste Keys and Tracks inside Timelines
- New: Single-track animation of complex types such as bezier grids or polygonal masks
- New: Double click on a block: select all sub-tracks
- New: Lot of misc. UX improvements on the Timeline
- Fix: Separate dimensions track can be deleted without breaking all animation
- Fix: When a bezier key is next to a smooth key, curve interpolation is good
- Fix: Using a standalone player on a referenced compo which have a main timeline should now work properly
Visualizer
- New: Edition of 2d/3d trajectories in the visualizer (with edit mode ON in visualizer)
- Change: Polygonal mask point creation with ctrl+click
Misc
- New: Allow drag and drop File and Directory in Media directories Tree
- New: Presets can now be found through the instanciator (search field above element tree)
- New: Expose starter parameter (parameter to control activation and intensity/opacity at the same time)
- Change: Mask, Fields, 2D Renderer, 3D Renderer, Modifiers, Animation menus and icons improved
- Change: All devices can be easily mutable (via Preferences panel or Devices tab)
- Change: Replace Animation parameter "Reset At Deactivation" by "Reset At Preload"
- Change: optimizations on smode opening, presets loading and menu apparition times
For Smode Studio only:
- New: Time remapping feature in timelines
- Fix: Baking a sub compo now handle more tricky cases (ex: when the parent compo reference it in it's own main timeline, or when the sub compo is using the parent compo camera)
- Fix: Reset or Finalize a video should show the correct frame of the video
For Smode Station only:
- New: Support of NDI (v3) (beta)
- New: Vioso Anyblend Integration (beta)
- New: Support of Kinesys protocol (beta)
