Smode crash or doesn't render on laptops with Intel graphics cards

Unfortunately, Intel GPUs are not yet supported by Smode.

If you have a laptop that has an NVidia graphics card in addition to the builtin Intel GPU and that Smode crashes at startup, make sure in your graphics driver properties that your graphics card is enabled by default in the NVidia control panel. For this, go to Manage "3D Settings", then select the tab "Program settings", select Smode as a program to customize and set the NVidia processor as prefered graphics processor:

Note that all of this will be historical in next Smode 7.6.

Smode will use the High performance processor whatever the NVidia 3D settings are.

However, experimental support of Intel HD Graphics with Skylake micro-architecture or greater will also be available.
Last drivers are required.
