Stereoscopic camera preset?

Hello Gio,

We have no such built-in feature yet. It should however be possible to "share" your 3d content and then film it through two separate cameras. Let me know if you need more info,

First problem :

I want to link MAIN CAMERA to a NULL Target
But i have a problem with local and world coordinates .
for moment , i just succeed to link in local coordinates. is there a way to link in world position ?

I trying an alternative :

the main cam is outside to the 3Dgroup. like this i can target in world coordiantes

the Left and Right cam stay in 3D group (seems more flexible for the shift eyes )
But i have the smae problem to focus this 2 cams to the target . when i choose POSITION TARGET ROLL feature . their positions are the NULL TARGET POSITION in Local coordinates but not in world coordinates ...

When you do a link between 3d positions, it just copies the X, Y and Z values without wondering about local or global referentials. This would require something such as a "GlobalCoordinates" link modifier, but this doesn't exist yet, sorry

Probably, the ideal would be to have a native "Stereoscopic Camera" (as we do have a "Spherical Camera"). I've added this in our feature request list. Let me know if you've an urgent need!

so i understand .3Dgroup has his own world coordinates .
yep i was surprised to not find in the preset folder ; )
I would make 3drealtimedemos soon as possible . i know many interested people by this features ..

for moment i finish a final sequence for AbidjanShow (15680 x2160)
im very very happy with rendering in smode . (i would like a topics about that soon later )

important things is the possibility to play 3Drelief in realtime and L and R batch rendering will be the cherry ; )

for moment i m blocked on the L and R camera rotation according their target . I m just newuser from 3days but SMode his very handfull

i let the file ( V.001) here if somebody can add his light to target the left and RIGHT cam . in waiting a special refief cam

Just to update on this: the "Stereoscopic" camera has been created since and released with 8.2
