Trigger 2 different timelines depending on what time is on system clock

Hi, I'm new to Smode, very excited about it, I have a problem I can't solve yet though, I need to have 2 different content sets played depending on time of day.
The first is just a pre-show test pattern to check alignment, and the 2nd is a looping content timeline. (content is just video and audio files playing back, no keyframes, no generative content)

The first content - the test pattern - needs to play between times of day X & Y, and the main content needs to loop for the rest of the day until the system is shut down. I'm not sure how best to arrange it, with scenes, or with cue list, sub timelines, etc?

I know to use current time clock, but not sure of best approach after that, thanks!

Hey!
You can create a 24h timeline with time markers inside.
Each markers can play another timeline thanks the option "content"

I think that's enough to do this kind of scenario

One thing I forgot to mention is that if the system is restarted during the day, it needs to play the correct timeline - so if it's restarted during main show time, it needs to go straight back into the main show, and not play the pre-show state.

Is there a way to make the launch of the main show timeline continuous and not just depend on a marker at 1 precise point in the day?

So I think the best way is to forgot the time marker option, put your timeline of the show inside the timeline of the day.
Select the track corresponding to the show and in advanced parameter -> deactivate auto lenght. This will enable the show to loop on a certain duration.

Also, I didn't mention it, but do you know how to bind a timeline to a current time clock ?

I ended up using your first suggestion of timeline markers to turn on and off an extra subtitles layer at specific times of the day for extra accessibility screenings too
