Trouble selecting spline CVs in orthoronal viewports

Hi, guys.
I was playing around with the Funcion splines in Edition mode when I realized that there's a problem with selecting spline CVs in orthoronal viewports. It works like a charm in the perspective view, but I can't freely select the CVs in any of the 3 orthogonal ones. All I can manipulate in viewport is just one CV that's currently selected in the function view. So, in order to select the next CV to edit I need to use the Function view, not the orthogonal viewport. Is that a natural current limitation or just a bug?

Yeah some 3d helpers doens't work in orthogonal mode, this is known bug and there is already an issue open about it.
This is linked to the fact the code used to project the mouse in the 3d space, is not implemented / not working for orthogonal cameras
